CHICAGO — The University of Chicago issued an alert after two robberies Tuesday night.At around 10:50 p.m., the university said a person was walking to an off-campus residence when they were confronted by two unknown suspects.The victim's property was stolen before the pair fled into a black mini-van.Around 10 minutes later at around 11 p.m., two people were walking on Harper, between 58th and 59th Street, when two unknown suspects, both armed with handguns, exited a white newer model van. Google has announced plans to begin deleting personal accounts and all of their content en masse to reduce risk for its more active users.In a Tuesday announcement the company stated they are updating their inactive account policies and plan to begin deleting accounts which have not been used or signed into for at least two years. They state inactive accounts are more likely to be compromised leading to identity theft and/or unwanted content like spam. In the policy update they state, "We are going to roll this out slowly and carefully, with plenty of notice," going on to say the earliest accounts will be deleted is December 2023. Ford recalls 310,000 trucks to fix problem with driver's air bag

DETROIT (AP) — Ford is recalling more than 310,000 trucks in the U.S. because the driver’s front air bag may not inflate in a crash.The recall covers certain F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks from the 2016 model year.The company says dust can accumulate in a cable inside the steering wheel, interrupting the electrical connection. Ford says it's not aware of any crashes or injuries caused by the problem.Dealers will replace the steering wheel wiring assembly at no cost to owners, who will be notified starting July 5.Owners may hear popping or clicking noises inside the steering wheel, or steering wheel switches and the horn might not work. They may also see an air bag warning light notifying them of the problem.

Jury continues deliberations in Schoharie Limo Trial

SCHOHARIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The jury is still deliberating in the criminal trial of Nauman Hussain. Hussain is charged with 20 counts of manslaughter and 20 counts of criminally negligent homicide in connection with the fatal crash that killed 20 people in 2018. The jury began deliberations shortly after 3:30 p.m. on May 16, 2023. The speedy trial was a surprise to many with the initial trial expected to last four to six weeks. 136 witnesses were on standby to testify at the beginning of the trial, but only 24 were called to the stand.
