CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Chauncey Wiggins scored 13 of his career high 15 points in the second half, Ian Schieffelin had 12 points and 12 rebounds and No. 24 Clemson rallied to beat South Carolina 72-67 on Wednesday night. The game marked the first time in the 173-game series between the instate rivals — dating to the 1912-13 season — that both teams went in 7-0. Schieffelin — who picked up his fourth personal foul moments earlier — hit a 3-pointer, grabbed a rebound on the other end and then threw down a contested two-hand dunk in a 29-second span to give Clemson a 59-56 lead with 4:53 to play. Schieffelin’s steal led to a Chase Hunter layup with 3:04 left. CHICAGO (AP) — DeMar DeRozan scored 29 points and the Chicago Bulls beat the short-handed Charlotte Hornets 111-100 on Wednesday for their third straight victory following a five-game skid. Nikola Vucevic had 20 and 11 rebounds for the Bulls and and Coby White added 19 points.Gordon Hayward scored 27 points for Charlotte, and Terry Rozier had 25. DENVER (KDVR) — Another shooting on a college campus sent students running for safety on Wednesday at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.Three people were killed and another was hurt, and police said the suspect was dead.When the shooting began, hundreds of students went running to hide and find safety, including students from here in Colorado. The U.S. Marshals Service invited FOX31 to see firsthand how hunting down sex offenders led to uncovering other crimes in metro-area neighborhoods.
