ST. LOUIS -- A lot of people are asking why it is so hazy out today. A Google Trends report shows that there is a spike in people searching for this question. But, there is smoke in the skies around St. Louis. A truck carrying a full load of Palisade peaches crashed on Interstate 70 just outside Denver early Thursday morning, closing the eastbound lanes of the interstate for several hours.Not a peachy drive into work from the mountains this morning. Eastbound I-70 is down to one lane on the approach to the Morrison/259 exit while crews work to remove a crashed semi.
