AUSTIN (KXAN) — It's easy to write off TCU because of the Horned Frogs' losing record and injury trouble on offense, but like College GameDay's Lee Corso always says — not so fast, my friend.TCU hosts No. 7 Texas at 6:30 p.m. CT Saturday at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, and they're doing so with a 4-5 overall record and 2-4 mark in the Big 12 Conference. They were blown out by Kansas State 41-3 the week before the Wildcats took Texas to overtime, but in every other loss, the Horned Frogs were in the game the entire way. St. Louis man charged in DUI crash that killed Illinois teen

MADISON COUNTY, Ill. - A St. Louis man faces felony charges in connection with a DUI crash that killed an Illinois teenager last summer. Prosecutors have charged Dustin Gilliland, 44, with reckless homicide and aggravated DUI in connection with the crash, which claimed the life of Gregory Kuehnel Jr., 18, of Jerseyville. A massive Pacific storm system currently churching off the coast of Alaska is poised to bring measurable rain to Southern California next week and snow to the mountains.Forecasters with the National Weather Service say the storm will spin slowly toward the California coast over the next several days. Through this weekend and early next week, skies will be mostly clear and temperatures, mild, but “things will change very drastically and quickly,” says KTLA weather anchor Kaj Goldberg.Meteorologists say a large Pacific storm system will bring measurable rain to Southern California next week. The Long Beach Health Department has confirmed its first human case of mosquito-borne St. Louis Encephalitis since 1984, city officials announced on Thursday.The person who was infected was hospitalized but is currently recovering at home, officials said, and no other cases have been identified.
