Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett was trying to get some sleep as the team was flying back from a win in Las Vegas early Monday morning when a flight attendant nudged him awake with some unwelcome news.“(She) was like ‘We have a Code Yellow alert’ and I was just kind of out of it,” Pickett said. “I was like, ’What does that mean? We’re one step away from Code Red.’”Things didn’t quite get that far, though an oil pressure issue forced Pittsburgh’s charter plane to make an emergency landing in Kansas City. The plane landed safely, though not everyone on the flight took the unexpected detour in stride.“Some guys were panicking,” Pickett said. “It was a crazy situation. CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Kyle Busch has sold his Truck Series team, manufacturing business and all the Kyle Busch Motorsports assets to Spire Motorsports in a deal announced Wednesday. KBM is one of the most successful truck organizations in NASCAR history and holds the series record for most career wins (100) and most wins in a single season (14). Busch has won seven owner’s championships and a pair of driver championships with Erik Jones in 2015 and Christopher Bell in 2017. KBM, started in 2010 by two-time Cup Series champion Busch, for more than a decade has been a development step for young drivers backed by Toyota. Busch left Joe Gibbs Racing, a Toyota team, at the end of last season for Richard Childress Racing, which fields Chevrolets. KBM this season has fielded Chevy trucks, and Spire is a Chevrolet-aligned team. DENVER (KDVR) -- Remains found in Saguache County have been positively identified as Suzanne Morphew, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.Morphew was reported missing from her home in Chaffee County on May 10, 2020. A woman is recovering after she was pulled to safety from a ravine in Blackstone Wednesday, family members and local officials said.Firefighters shared video of the rescue at the Blackstone Gorge. Later speaking with 7NEWS, the woman’s husband said she had been hiking along the gorge with her two dogs when one dog slipped and fell into the gorge. The woman’s husband said she went in after her pet. Ultimately, both the woman and her dog needed to be rescued.“She looked up and pretty much there was a no win situation of her getting herself out of there,” the woman’s husband said.The husband, who did not want to be identified, said his wife had a cell phone and called her mother who called 911.Video showed part of the ensuing rescue as crews worked to haul the woman up a steep slope, tying ropes to trees before carrying the woman to safety in a basket. Police in Brookline say two men were arrested in connection with a home invasion that left a resident wounded and officers searching for “multiple masked suspects.”In a statement to 7NEWS, the police department said two people had been arrested and were facing multiple charges for a home invasion that happened on Warren Street back on July 18.At the time, authorities said multiple masked suspects were able to force their way through the balcony of a home’s second floor while the residents, two brothers, were sleeping inside.One of the brothers, a 61 year old, was assaulted and left with a laceration wound to the head.
