Police have released a new clue in their search for a driver who, they said, struck a 16-year-old boy in Hallandale Beach and kept on going.Officials with Hallandale Beach Police on Friday released three surveillance images of the black Volkswagen that, they said, was involved in the crash near Northwest Seventh Terrace and Ninth Court, at around 3:30 p.m., Monday.Speaking with 7News on Wednesday, Tylan Jackson said he was walking home from school near OB Johnson Park when he was hit by a driver who took off.The teen had a message for the motorist who was responsible.“Just turn yourself in,” he said.If you recognize the car, or have any information on the driver’s whereabouts, call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Two Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies took the opportunity to thank their colleagues for coming to their rescue after they were hit by a suspect’s car near Tampa.A month after the violent crash in Brandon that was captured on surveillance video, Deputy Manuel Santos and Deputy Cpl. Carlos Brito are the road to recovery. Rescue crews rushed a man and a woman to the hospital after, police said, they came under fire at an apartment complex in Lauderhill.According to Lauderhill Police, they received several ShotSpotter notifications from the area of Northwest 31st Avenue and 17th Street, just after 8:30 p.m., Friday.Responding officers arrived to find the female victim with a gunshot wound to the foot and the male victim with two gunshot wounds to the chest.Paramedics transported the victims to Broward Health Medical Center, where the woman is in stable condition and the man is in critical condition.Back at the scene, officers shut down the majority of access to the complex.Police have not specified whether or not they have located the gunman, as they continue to investigate.If you have any information on this shooting, call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. PITTSFIELD, M.A. (NEWS10) -Staff Sergeant Jacob Galliher was remembered with a procession around his home state of Massachusetts. The memorial welcomed hundreds of community members to look back on his life before he was laid to rest.The remains of Galliher were flown into Westover Air Reserve Base Friday afternoon. ST. CLAIR, Mo. - An officer shot a suspect Friday evening in St. Clair after a traffic stop escalated to the point of the officer being dragged, according to the St. Clair Police Department. The incident unfolded around 7:15 p.m. Friday on Highway 30 near Bardot Street. The St. Clair Police Department reports an officer conducted a traffic stop after receiving a tip that the driver was unable to stay on the road and maintain a lane. Two St. Louis-area highways among ‘America’s most loathed,’ report says "As the officer was conducting an investigation, the suspect tried to flee, dragging the officer. The officer fired striking the suspect," stated the St. Clair Police Department via a news release. The suspect took off from the scene, prompting a brief pursuit. It ended after nearly half a mile when the suspect reportedly drove into the back of the business. Police say one man was arrested, but did not disclose his name or age.
