The year is half over and 2023 is already one of the most impressive ever in video games. Stellar titles have hit the shelves nearly every week along with some solid original projects.“The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” leads the way by somehow making a perfect game even better and ultimately refining a paradigm shift in its gameplay and approach. (KRON) -- The Golden Gate Ferry announced schedule changes set to take effect next week. Starting June 26, the schedule changes will "enhance ferry service," and there will be no service reductions. MONTREAL (AP) — Dahrran Diedrick, the Canadian running back who starred at Nebraska and won three Grey Cup titles in a 10-year Canadian Football League career, died Saturday after fighting cancer. He was 44.The Montreal Alouettes, the team Diedrick helped win two Grey Cups, confirmed the death through his family. Quarterback Anthony Calvillo, currently the team’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, was a teammate of Diedrick’s for eight seasons in Montreal.“I won two championships with Dahrran and he was a very important piece of our team,” Calvillo said in a statement. “He was always in a good mood and got along with everyone in our dressing room. He leaves us far too young.”Born in Jamaica and raised in Toronto, the 6-foot, 225-pound Diedrick was the first Canadian-born scholarship recruit to play for Nebraska. DENVER (KDVR) -- Colorado State Patrol Limon said a vehicle was discovered upside down in a sinkhole on Saturday afternoon.Trooper Brett Corbin responded to Weld County Road 2 in Brighton after a local resident called 911 about the vehicle being in the sinkhole. A driver was killed after, authorities said, he collided with a semi-truck on the Florida Turnpike in Davie.Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene of the overnight crash about a half-mile north of Griffin Road, at around 4 a.m., Saturday.According to investigators, the driver of a blue Honda Civic was traveling north changed lanes into the outside center lane and into the path of the semi-truck.After the vehicles collided, investigators said, the Civic became attached to the truck and was dragged until they both came to a stop.The truck ended up on its side.Davie Fire Rescue units responded to the scene and pronounced the driver of the Civic dead. The driver of the overturned truck was not injured.Troopers shut down all northbound lanes while they investigated.
