(The Hill) -- Health officials are bracing for chaos as states begin to determine — for the first time in three years — who is eligible for Medicaid, as a key pandemic policy of guaranteed eligibility ends.Advocates warn that without a safety net, millions of vulnerable people will fall through the cracks and lose coverage. The Biden administration is giving states a year to go through the once-routine process of sorting through Medicaid rolls, though some are moving much faster. Arkansas for instance will speed through the redetermination process in only six months, citing cost concerns and the goal of Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) to push people to "escape the trap of government dependency." Eight states began the renewal process in February, and have already started sending out renewal notices. The Municipal Government Act (MGA) mandates that two or more councils of municipalities with common boundaries that are not members of a growth region must adopt an Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) through the passing of a bylaw.“Fundamentally speaking, this document is very similar to the previous plan, which was adopted in 2010. CHESTERFIELD, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- New York State Police have arrested two people in connection to a suspicious Chesterfield death reported on Tuesday. On March 20, around 2:12 a.m., police responded to State Route 9 near the AuSable Chasm Bridge in Chestertown for reports of a suspicious death. Pizza is ending the deal at its St Mark's Place location in Manhattan's East Village, according to Eater New York. Moreau traffic stop leads to drug arrest for three

MOREAU, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A traffic stop in Moreau resulted in three drug arrests on Saturday. Alexia Azan (19, Fort Edward), Joshua Waddell (42, Fort Edward), and Matthew Bennett (40, Queensbury) each face charges. On Saturday, March 18, around 8:20 p.m., police pulled a car over in Moreau for several vehicle and traffic law violations. Police identified the driver as Waddell and Azan and Bennett as passengers. Following an investigation, police say they found all three possessed drugs, with Bennett also having drug paraphernalia with drug residue.Charges:Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substanceSecond-degree criminally using drug paraphernaliaAll three were taken to Wilton State Police for processing. They were all issued appearance tickets to return to the Moreau Town Court on April 5 and were later released.
